Today we live in an API economy and everything is moving into a service paradigm. Product companies are slowly gearing up to this change. With the rapid adoption of cloud computing, it’s an open war and APIs are your Lightsaber weapon. When you create an API, you invite developers to become your customers. So just as you spend the time, money and effort to provide the best user experience through user interface design, you should expend a similar effort to provide the best possible developer experience through API design.
